First of all I just want to say I love the look of this site. Fucking awesome.

Next, though, I was wondering what could be done for avatars and banners. I'm not a graphics guy, have no idea who I want to use as a base for Thorn or my Mech, but I did find a picture that I'd kind of like my banner to look like.

Not necessarily that picture or even those characters, but a similar style I suppose. I dunno, suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, dude! Yeah, I spent a bit too long last night figuring out my first custom-coded proboards, but, yeah, I plan on doing the graphics, so no biggie.

Yeah, there are plenty of dark haired characters in the Gundam series. Take a look at "Burning" Gundam. He's a mobile suit made for martial arts.

Burning Gundam sounds like it would work for Thorn. Saw there were some black and red, gold, and multi-colored ones that weren't bad, but I couldn't find any quality pictures. The samurai one doesn't really fit Thorn's personality. Also, though, "Burning" Gundam would seem more like a custom job for Thorn, and I want him to at least start with a more basic/well rounded one first. Kinda like a prototype Gundam, that can pretty much do it all. No idea.

Below are a few pics that I thought looked pretty cool or may work as a banner. Still no idea on a pic base.

Cool! I think I got some ideas of what you want. Once i get this rulebook posted, I'll put something together for you.

Sweet. Also I've been looking at some pic bases, and I'm having a terrible time deciding.

I've been looking at a bunch of actors for the pic base and have no clue. I trimmed it down to Ryan Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant and (though I've never been a big fan of him) Jake Gylenhall (he's quite jacked in Prince of Persia). I'll take any other suggestions if people have them.

I suppose I could just go with an anime character, but I dunno.

Then there's always David Borreanaz, my old pic base. He's what I tend to think of now when I think of Thorn, and he's still in good shape. Only problem with him, and Olyphant, is that they're showing their age. Thorn's not necessarily ageless but I don't want him with gray hairs and wrinkles just yet.

If anyone else can think of dark haired actors who look to be somewhere in their 30's, muscular, and relatively attractive then please offer suggestions. My mind is blank.

Most Gundam pictures are animated cells, so, to keep it stream-lined, I figured using an anime character too. But, of course, if you want to make mention of what his real appearance is in your profile, go for it.

Before the English adaption, in Japan it is know as God Gundam after all XD

Oh yeah, man, that all sounds fantastic. I plan on evolving the mechs as we play around here, maybe a new toy every week and a new upgrade now and then. I definitely want to upgrade to the God Gundam, lol.
