“Speculations were running amok, especially if you were down-trodden, reduced to your skivvies, and chose to run around screaming like a mad man, but nevertheless, the talk about in the hero camp of there being a mole was still stuck in the back of everyone's mind. And rightfully so, as it would turn out. The Mighty Mjaeder discovered the man he placed in the highest position to take over research of the carbon molecule modulator was not his friend Blue Mantis, but Nyarlath, Demon of Terror, in disguise. Crazy person and super hero joined forces to try to take out this traitor, but it was too late. Nyarlath escaped with the device of unknown origin and power.”
“Nyarlath returned however, super-powered and juiced up from the device, and looked to destroy the viking champion. He almost completed the task, too, but in an odd choice of events, Mjaeder turned into a giant monster himself – one of powerful lightning, and ended Nyarlath's Age of Terror, if just for the time being.”
“Saving the world all the time must run in The Mighty Mjaeder's blood, because once the demon was defeated, he was more worried about what happened to the device. The heroes have claimed it to be destroyed by the mightiest of attacks in Mjaeder's lightning form, but they are not completely sure. Here's hoping it's not just lost and floating around the city, looking for a new master to abuse it's unlimited power.”
