“Gez, I didn't think that training was going to be so rough! I think I would rather dodge all projectiles from that army Megapwn was controlling again than deal with 'training' again!” Blake says bitterly to Zallen.
“Don't take it too hard... I mean, it was from a sentient city... er... thing after all. That reminds me... Dr Lander, did you get any data on Citius?”
“Yes, I recorded all the structural data on Citius along with some fighting data from the 'training exercise'. I'm compiling the data at the moment and sending it to be analyzed. I could send a copy to you Zallen after I am done compiling it.” Dr Lander says.
“Sure, why not? Two heads are better than one,” says Zallen.
“Shouldn't that be two BRRRRAAAIIIINSS!?” snickers Bill. Everybody else sighs, shakes their heads, and promptly goes back to ignoring Bill.
“Errrmm... well.. back to business. I take it that the data was wiped clean from SatelLight's data banks when it was extracted? Don't think I'm insulting your intelligence Dr Lander, but I don't trust that drone (SatelLight)” Zallen quickly asks Dr Lander.
“I removed it from the scientific OS part of the data storage partition. I seem to be locked out of the militaristic partition...” Dr Lander slowly states.
Zallen quickly turns to Dr Doward and picks him up by his arms with the power of his mind. “What is the meaning of this, Dr Doward! The disk scan of the militaristic partition should have been done ages ago! There shouldn't be a lock on anything in that drone that my team shouldn't know about!”
“Well...” Dr Doward timidly says.
“WELL WHAT?!” Zallen slams him into a nearby wall.
“It was ordered by the CGS! I swear!” Dr Doward screams out as he sweats profusely.
“Regardless, I want it off.. and I want it off now! And to be safe I want you to rewrite some of the code!”
“Whatever you say Zallen... you are the leader of this team now after all. Now if you don't mind... could you put me down?” Dr Doward timidly requests.
Zallen lowers him to the floor, and Dr Doward scrambles quickly to get to work.
