I am confused, dazed, as I opened my tired eyes. What happened last night?-and most importantly....where am I? I shake off my sleepiness only to receive a headache in return.
I started to remember as I gazed about my surroundings...some kinda capsule thingy I am in-- Oh wait, I remembering hearing crashes and ker-boomz last night when I was trying to sleep...but how did I end up in here? I don't remember going in here...
All these thoughts in my head, confusing me as I try to figure exactly what I am inside of. Bleeping, booping lights and sounds...I never seen anything like this at all before. I go to take a closer look and one of my horns accidentally hit into something. A bright green light appeared, blinding my tired and sensitive eyes.
"What ish dis thingy?!" I exclaimed and my voiced echoed about the mostly empty capsule. I adjust my eyes as a flat, green rectangular thingy forms right in front of my face. It also appears to have some squiggles on it; dunno what's that is all about.
"Helloz, what are you? Are you even a you?- Or are you some kinda what?" I ask as I try to bop my face at it, but my muzzle just passes right through. Then it started to make more noises, this time pretty sharp and right near my eardrums.
"I AM AN ON-BOARD AI UNIT FOR THIS MOBILE RESCUE UNIT, SERIAL NUMBER EIGHT-ZERO-ONE-SEVEN-SIX-THREE-ZERO-ONE-ONE-TWO-TWO FIVE-FOUR-THREE-ONE-ONE-NINE!" it loudly blasted, almost deafening to my poor eardrums that are right there.
"Wow, you're loud! You hurt my eardrums really badz!...What nonsense are you talking about? AI?? What's dat?-and what are these number thingies? I never heard of numbers before..." I blabbed out quickly as I frowned sharply.
"ADJUSTING VOLUME.....complete. I just listed my identification code to you. AI is the abbreviation for artificial intelligence. Numbers are used to count things, for example, you have two eyes and one tail."
"Oooh!~" I said excitedly. "That's good to know!" I exclaimed as I noticed the voice was now much softer now and actually quite soothing to my ringing eardrums.
"So, you like learning things, don't you? If you want, I could teach you some things; we have time to spare."
An " Earth year" has passed since the female-voiced AI I now know as simply One-Nine said those words to me. One-Nine says I don't even have a name and refused to name me. I asked many questions about the capsule and related questions, but she would refuse to answer. However, she taught me some of the following: math, reading Japanese, a little about what technology was in the rescue unit, and manners and the like. Although she mainly focused on teaching me how to speak Japanese. I don't even know who speaks Japanese or much else...even what lifeforms inhabit this "Earth" she spoke of.
...I was about to start my next lesson in speaking Japanese and then a red screen appeared. "We are being dragged to a great source of power at rapid speeds. I'll initiate the safety mechanisms..........done. Go into the safety chamber over there!" She said in a concerned voice.
I did just that. I bolted into the chamber and then the door slid shut. I quiver in fear and urinate a lil over the floor. "I'm scared! What do I do now?...Is this Earth on the screen in here?!" I blurted out very frightened-like.
"Brace yourself, we are being dragged into Earth....Tokyo, Japan to be precise. I was preparing you to go to Japan, but not Tokyo!" She said as we then suddenly zipped past the atmosphere. "....Applying airbrakes!"
The escape unit rumbled about violently at first, then it stopped and the sinking feeling in my gut felt more at ease. Then, a minute later, I hear a thud and feel a shake, and then a hiss-pop in the distance.
"Welcome to Tokyo..oo..oo~........." One-Nine said and then fell silent.
"One-Nine...are you ok?" .....no answer. I waited and waited for an answer but she didn't reply. She never-ever took this long to say something back to me. I cried, I was confused and alone!
I finally then rose my head and slowly exited where I heard the hiss-pop earlier. All the lights and sounds filled the night air. All this startled me. I didn't know what most of this was! I bolted down this black floor with yellow lines in it and all these other things were about...almost hitting me...
I felt some massive power radiating from somewhere near so I decided to go into that direction...
