“Great Ovaan’s Brothel!”
The Mighty Mjaeder! was mightily perturbed.
This strange new world was mightily trying to even the might of his mighty will.
Sure, he had mightily bested Bob the Frost Giant, but what of it? It was mightily fun while it lasted, but the Mighty Mjaeder! had bested frost giants countless times before. By Odin, he had bested that particular frost giant countless times before. And as enjoyable as it was, it was but a fleeting pleasure, leaving him mightily hungry for battle and glory.
And once Bob had been mightily defeated for 17,863rd time, there was… nothing… for the Mighty Mjaeder! to do. No battles to be won, no fights to fight…
That infuriating demon with the audacity to insult his might was nowhere to be found. As might as was the might of the Mighty Mjaeder!, even he could not vanquish a foe he could not see. And this damnable creature hid from him at every turn! Obviously the monstrosity feared his might, but how could he prove that to the world without another mighty encounter?
And worse, mightily incomprehensibly worse, the people of this world refused to worship him! He had face no less than 7, seven encounters with mortals that had failed to pay him the fealty he mightily deserved! He considered eviscerating the pathetic little ones, but what good would that do? They’d probably only run from him and continue to disregard the honor and worship his might deserved…
He just could not understand these “Japeese” tiny men. Could they not recognize the God of Thunder and Might when they saw his mighty form? What kind of fool failed to recognize his mighty might when he stood before him!? Perhaps they were distracted by their lady folks’ sideways vaginas…
Whatever the cause, it was a source of might vexation. And now this Megapwn had appeared and displayed the arrogance to demand that he, he must be worshipped!?! It was an unconscionable outrage! The Mighty Mjaeder! cared not for how big this thing was, it could not match his might, and it must not be worshiped above him! How dare this being usurp his honor!?
It must not stand! His might could be ignored no longer! There must be a way to display his might so mightily they would all be forced to see. But how? What battle was worthy of this task? What must he do to bring the honor he so richly deserves? Hm…. The Mighty Mjaeder!’s mind drew a mighty blank.
The Mighty Mjaeder! grumbled mightily and kicked one of the strange, colorful metal lumps along the side of the road to express his mighty frustration. It flew several hundred yards, and water erupted from the street, but even this mighty display of his might could not lift his mightily depressed spirits. He sighed and turned the corner.
Their a pair of Japeese men in their strange clothings with the rope seemingly designed for strangulation around their next were busily at speech. In an ultimate indignity, so caught up were they in their discussion they failed to even acknowledge the presence of the Mighty Mjaeder!…
“These are strange and dangerous times, indeed,” The first stated. Thankfully, thanks to the Amulet of Tongues Odin had gifted him for his mighty valor in the Battle of Snargleaft, the Mighty Mjaeder! was able to understand their strange speech.
“You are frightfully right, my friend,” The second replied, “With all of these monsters and massive battles about, how can any of us be safe?
Monsters? Massive Battles? The Mighty Mjaeder!’s interest was mightily piqued. This was just the sort of news he needed to hear…
“We can’t! Between the strange blue giant man who keeps fouling everything up, and the satellite monster, Megapwn, and who knows what else…”
“And what about the big red demon? I saw him up close, and he may be even more fearful than Megapwn…”
This Japeese new of his mighty enemy?! If the Mighty Mjaeder! could soundly vanquish this foe, it would go a long way to secure his rightful place in this world. He considered questioning the small “men,” but decided he was getting more useful information mightily standing on the side lines.
“The demon is truly formidable. His battle with the city creature was awe inspiring…”
City creature? If this creature had battled his foe, perhaps it knew where to find him…
“Thank goodness the city golem was there. A being made of the city itself? What could be more impressive? Thank goodness it was there, or who knows what the demon would have done?”
Could this be? A monster made up of the very city itself? A city as mighty as this, with his towers of metal and ice that would never melt? … Why, whether this thing new of the demon’s whereabouts or not, defeating such a creation would bring him such honor these ignorant fools could not possibly ignore his might! It would be a battle worth all the glory of the Water Slides of Asgard!
His decision was mightily made. He would find this city creature, and he would vanquish it in righteous battle. And then every corner of this world would recognize his might!
The Mighty Mjaeder! strode forward mightily (incidentally knocking his two unwilling informants to the ground, not that he noticed…), but how to proceed? Where in this incomprehensible city to find a being made up of the city itself? How to attract such a being’s attention?
As the Mighty Mjaeder! wandered the streets mightily, a mighty thought entered his mind. The city creature had been defending the city from the demon. It of course had a mighty affinity for that which composed its being. If this thing would not present itself to him, he could draw it out with a display of his mighty might!
With a few mighty strides, the Mighty Mjaeder! took a mighty leap into the sky. Turning back to plunge mightily to the ground. He let swing with Gloenjir, mightily destroying a building with one mighty blow! (As luck would have it, this building was abandoned and scheduled for demolition. Did the Mighty Mjaeder subconsciously perceive this and choose it accordingly, or was it merely happy happenstance? How much credit do you want to give our mighty hero?)
“Reveal yourself, creature!” The Mighty Mjaeder! delivered a mighty blow, shattering an island of concrete, “Come forward and face me in battle!”
Another mighty blow shook the street, convincing many an earthquake had struck.
“BEHOLD MY MIGHTY MIGHT!”
