After Final Wars, Toho said they were going to take a 10 year break from making Godzilla movies. Legendary Pictures, here in America, has picked up the rights for a one-off slated for sometime in 2014. It was announced during Comic-Con, almost accidentally, and was received pretty well there.
Unfortunately, it's so soon in the development, we're at the stage that fake pics, themes, crew listings, and all that are floating to the surface of the net everywhere. All we know, with some certainty, is that it's not going to follow 1998 catastrophic mess.
