Monster's name: Blue Mantis
Monster's concept (like giant crab or ooze from radioactivity): Blue Mantis is a patriotic atomic superman from the golden age of American super heroes. He's a monster of a man who stops at nothing to defeat evil by using his large artillery of super powers. Blue Mantis disappeared in 1947 during a fight with his then archenemy The Exterminator, when a temporal rift opened up somewhere in Roswell, New Mexico and sucked him into oblivion. No sign had been seen of Blue Mantis, until recently that same rift spit him back out, 65 years later, smack dab in the middle of Tokyo. He's back to his old job though, fighting crime and kicking butts, but although his heart and body are still strong, his mind is not quite what it used to be. And that's sugar-coating it.
Monster's appearance: Standing at seven feet tall and over two hundred and fifty pounds of pure muscle, Blue Mantis dawns his classic Blue costume and mask(with big blue antennae). Think the Tick. Exposure to radioactivity allows Blue Mantis to grow in size.
Monster's powers and weapons (be creative, but keep it within the theme of the game):
Super Strength: able to lift and hurl objects with ease such as city buses, military tanks, jets, etc. etc.
Super Toughness: being able to take on a full barrage of gunfire with barely a scratch.
Thanks to those two previous abilities he has a Super Jump which can extend for many miles, often mistaken as flight.
Mantis Fu: A super secret form of martial arts known only to Blue Mantis and his long lost side kick Skippy.
And finally Mantis Logic(this is a new power due to the damage to his sanity from the elongated time spent in oblivion): an infallible way of thinking that often distracts, confuses, and infuriates his enemies when they try to reason with him using real world logic and facts, but Mantis logic wins every time, no matter the argument. (Side Note: Blue Mantis is immune to Mantis logic when used back at him)
Monster's alignment (Good? Evil? Rogue?): Good
Extra optional notes - Blue Mantis once had a secret identity, but can't seem to remember anymore. Also back in the golden age, when citizens needed help they turned on the Mantis signal. A big BM was projected into the night sky. Luckily the citizens of modern day Japan see the problem with that now, and just settle with tweeting him or sending him a message on his Facebook page.
