"Welcome, Japan, to Tokyo Today at Five; your most favoritest television show about monster fighting and city crushing mayhem. If November was a month to remember, than December was the month intriguing twists and turns. Who knew monsters did other things beside smash things?"
"With the safety Tokyo in shambles, the collection of heroes had to band together, but December proved it to be a harder task than a simple high-five. The monster with the most influence of the demise of the hero faction is none other than the dreadful Fearzilla. The Feared One is a mysterious villain with both a mysterious background and motives, but, like a finely-tuned missile, once he is given a target, the target is destroyed. Sadly for the heroes of Tokyo, that's where the similarities end, because everything else about Fearzilla is worse than the nuclear warhead."
"Beating down all the monsters in Tokyo just isn't enough for this monstrosity. No, because an opponent can find a lesson or a bit of inspiration on the wrong end of a beat-down. Fearzilla instead tears apart his opponents mentally, ripping their minds from the rules and realities they once knew. He makes them experience crushing waves of doubt, and melts them into puddles of self-pity. This powerful nemesis has ran roughshod all over Tokyo, destroying everything in his path with really just a flick of his wrist. It is this type of psychological warfare that has the heroes not just in a complete panic, but knee-deep in a civil war."
"Despite Dr. Red's efforts, which included multiple assaults and enlisting new members, his powerful inter-stellar beacon was still in hero possession. It was housed by reluctant fighter, Mebbles, to be exact, and Fearzilla did his best to magnify the controversial tactic. Now, he has the mechanical guardian, Brian Thorn, and Mebbles at each other's throats, with no beneficial winner in sight."
"Some people have gone so far as to thank Fearzilla for his efforts in this city. They argue that he has transformed this war between monsters and earth to a free-for-all between monsters. Although this point is somewhat accurate, only fools wish for an Earth without protectors of the innocent."
"Alright, viewers, that's all the time we have for now, so check back with us very soon and seen how things develop. Thank you so much, and for the Tokyo Today at Five crew, that is a wrap!"
