“Welcome, viewers, to Tokyo Today at Five; your most favoritest television show about monster fighting and city crushing mayhem. Let's get right into our November 2010 recap special.”
“It was a chaotic November, to say the least, the peaceful Tokyo was suddenly turned upside down when giant monstrosities began sprouting up from every angle and began smashing everything in sight. The city was in complete disarray and quickly did it's best to vacate their homes and neighborhoods. For weeks, no one knew why this was all happening again. It was quite sometime ago when this all happened before, and we seemingly thought it was never going to happen to our city again. We were wrong. We were wrong and confused.”
“It was until a mad scientist by the name of Rudolph Edwin Dwinglestein III, or Dr. Red as he is commonly called, hijacked a live broadcast to explain how all this destruction was from his doing. He explained how he wanted to destroy the entire city and remodel it's remains into a place where he could rule as emperor. The monsters where just the clean-up crew, and, thanks to his scientific breakthroughs in wormhole technology, he had tapped into an almost unlimited resource. It was a perfect plan for him, because creatures that found their way on Planet Earth were lost, confused, and frustrated. They easily did his bidding, if not offer to smash the closest building out of pent up anger.”
“His perfect plan was working out perfectly until a rag-tag band of defenders stood in his way. Dragons like Mebbles and Fred stood along side Brian Thorn and his giant mecha to fight in the name of honor and the peace. They immediately put a stop to Dr. Red's plan, outwitting and overpowering his legion of tele-terrors. Luckily for the evil doctor, he had something up his sleeve.”
“It was a device he had made in conjunction with his wormhole monster locator. On top of Tokyo Tower was an electronic beacon that was said to have great power. It was technological man-made magnet designed to draw in the pure power and radiance of interstellar flares galaxies away. It was experimental to say the least, as no one could predict what power could be brought to Earth from such a far distance away.”
“With the heroes of Tokyo putting a stop to Dr. Red's mischief, he made the recovery of this device a mission for his evil gang, but that too was no an easy task to accomplish. Every monster in the land took notice to the sudden commotion and soon there was an all-out brawl for this treasured item. After the dust settled, the reluctant fighter and hero, Mebbles, came away with the beacon, but, with the forces of evil at every turn, is he the best protector of such a powerful device?”
“Only time will tell, viewers, so check back with us very soon and seen what happens. Thank you so much, and for the Tokyo Today at Five crew, that is a wrap!”
