I understand people STILL might be busy with holiday shenanigans, so ONE EXTRA WEEK is given to extend the deadline so everyone can have all the time in the multi-verse to post.

Well, I agree with the "real men" line, but the extra week gives Mebbles some extra time to work on another piece or edit the one he wrote, so I won't disqualify ya' just because you missed the initial deadline. In a nutshell, I'd rather keep everyone playing and having fun than clubbing everyone with the rulebook.
